I am a security researcher and engineer working at the intersection of AI-enabled systems and cyber-physical infrastructure. My work spans applied research on connected medical device security, health technology policy, and the engineering of secure software in regulated environments.
I hold an MSc in Security and Resilience from Imperial College London, awarded with Distinction and supported by a scholarship from the Institute for Security Science and Technology, and a First Class BSc in Cybersecurity from Coventry University.
Research
My research focuses on the cybersecurity of connected medical devices and the AI-enabled systems that increasingly surround them. I am the lead and corresponding author of Cybersecurity in Connected Medical Devices: A Policy Agenda for the NHS, published in npj Digital Medicine (Nature Portfolio) in March 2026 with Kunal Rajput, Ara Darzi and Saira Ghafur. The paper proposes a cross-layer risk framework spanning the physical, network and cloud layers of NHS device infrastructure, with recommendations to the MHRA on secure-by-design development, Software Bills of Materials and clear accountability.
I am currently co-leading a systematic review of cybersecurity interventions in diabetes technology, covering continuous glucose monitoring systems and insulin pumps, registered on PROSPERO as CRD42025639477. The work brings together the Institute for Security Science and Technology and the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London.
I am seeking doctoral opportunities on the security of AI-enabled medical devices, and I welcome conversations with prospective supervisors, collaborators and clinical partners.
Industry and public service
Alongside research, I am the founder of CYBNODE Ltd, a London-based AI product security consultancy delivering secure software and DevSecOps services, where I lead the development of Stravok, a platform that reduces audit effort for GDPR and ISO 27001. As Lead Engineer, E-commerce Platform at First Class Watches, I re-platformed a legacy e-commerce business onto a modern Next.js, Laravel and FastAPI stack, run its production infrastructure, and build LLM-based tooling for product search and internal analytics.
In 2025 and 2026 I co-organised programme development for the Advanced Research + Invention Agency’s Trust Everything, Everywhere initiative, contributing expertise in cyber-physical systems and secure AI. I also serve on the Alumni Advisory Board of the College of Engineering, Environment and Science at Coventry University.
A full account of my education, publications and experience is on my CV, and the things I build outside academia are under side projects. You can reach me by email or through the links in the sidebar.
